Terms and Conditions of Booking 2021

All trips are dependent on weather conditions and minimum passenger numbers. The skipper may alter, cancel or amend the route of any sailing at his discretion for the safety of passengers.

If you book a Tiree sea tour Please insure you have the relevant holiday insurance to cover cancellation issues you may face due to third party services, any other situation that may stop you travelling to Tiree. 

Please note: We will be providing waterproofs  this season! Lifejackets will of course be provided and they will be cleaned and sanitised before each trip.

These Terms and Conditions of Booking (‘Booking Conditions’) together with our Website Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy & Cookies Policy and the documents referred to in them will apply to: (A) Your use of our website; (B) Our supply of products and services; and (C) Our contact with you, so please read them and the Tour descriptions through carefully before completing your booking request.

Please note that to book any of the sea tours (‘Tours’) described on our website (‘Site’) you must agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. Your completed booking request will be treated as confirmation of your acceptance of our Booking Conditions. If you have any questions about the Booking Conditions please contact us for clarification prior to booking. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these Booking Conditions, you will not be able to book any Sea Tours from us.

1. INFORMATION ABOUT US
All sea tours are provided by Tiree Sea Tours Limited (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) a company registered in Scotland (company number SC587787) with its Registered Office Failte, Heanish, Isle Of Tiree, Scotland, PA77 6UL. Our VAT number is 291274395.

Terms and Conditions

  • All trips are dependent on weather conditions and minimum passenger numbers.

  • The skipper may alter, cancel or amend the route of any sailing at his discretion for the safety of passengers.

  • Unfortunately, the access onto and off our vessel is not suitable for persons in wheelchairs, passengers with limited mobility are welcome and our crew will assist with boarding whenever possible.

  • No smoking is permitted on any of our sailings

  • No alcohol can be brought onto the boat or consumed on board without prior agreement

  • Please refrain from throwing rubbish overboard.

  • Our fast Rib trips are unsuitable for anyone with:-

    • previous back injuries or pain

    • pregnant women

  • Our fast Rib trips are not suitable for babies and small children, this may change on certain trips and will be dependent on weather conditions and the skipper’s discretion.

  • Passengers on landing trips are responsible for ensuring they are back at the boat for the departure time, any costs incurred with their retrieval from the island if they miss the return trip will be charged to the passenger in full.

  • Passengers must comply with any instructions issued by the crew, they are there for your safety

  • Passengers must not tamper or interfere with any safety equipment on the boat. Any willfull damage to equipment or the vessel will be charged to the passenger.

  • There are some tricky paths at some of our destinations. Enjoy them, BUT while ashore please remember YOU are responsible for yourself and the environment.

  • No two voyages are the same. We cannot guarantee sightings of any particular wildlife species although our crew are very experienced and will always do their best.

  • Full, third party liability is provided for all passengers, excluding personal effects (such as cameras, mobile phones and other electronic equipment) which are carried at your own risk.
